Bookings

We helped a company improve the efficiency of their training booking system, which originally was managed via Excel spreadsheets. We implemented monday.com, make.com and Google Sheets to provide an easy-to-manage data store, automatic transfer of trainee feedback to the CRM, automatic emailing of certificates, and notifications of outstanding training to be booked. This reduced the admin time from several stakeholders over several days to one person in half an hour.

Invoicing

We helped a company automate their bulk annual invoicing process for customer maintenance contracts. Existing invoice amounts were extracted from the CRM and pro forma invoice details were calculated using make.com and sent to Google Sheets for verification. A second step transferred the details to Xero to create all the invoices that were then emailed to customers. The revised invoice amounts were then updated in the CRM. This process originally took two people three days, and it was reduced to one person for an hour (mainly for the required manual verification step).

Automation

Automation was used to help a company synchronise information from monday.com, which was being used to keep track of customer service interactions, to the CRM, so that the sales team were aware of any feedback from the customer when they were cross/up-selling to them.

Reporting

A company's board had a manual process for collating monthly stats from the customer service system, the helpdesk, training team, and the CRM. Automation was used to automatically collect the raw data from the systems into a structured format. Google Data Studio was then configured to consume those sources to provide a single interactive dashboard of all key metrics required for board meetings. This removed all manual intervention, saving several work days of effort by staff.
